Any way: Why was your friend embarrassed by the teacher that stated she was a typical Manx, in front of the classroom in the 1960's? I'm very curious about your description of your teacher, and why your friend was so embarrassed. I'm also curious why the only observations you posted, were your friends feelings, and the description of your teacher.

Do you remember the name of your teacher on the IOM in the 1960's? Did you wear a uniform? What religion did the school teach the students?
