Thomas may well have been Richard's older brother. And Christian Quine was their mother.
In Christian's Will 1827 her 3 children are mentioned Thomas then Richard then Ann. Her house in the town of Peel was left to Ann and the men received 5 shillings each.

Christian's father William Quine died 1801 and left half his intack land to his son Wm Quine [married Magt Halsall]
I don't think Christian and Wm's sister Ann married - but need to check that.
