Hi Barbara and Melissa.
It seems that we've overloaded you with information which has been picked up along the way.
Do not take everything as factual, unless there's evidence of proof like a marriage certificate number or source citation number etc.
If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest you join the USA Family History Society (cost $25:00) and contact Linda A Clark, 4646 Fieldston Rd. Bellingham WA 98225 – 7830 and her email (replace AT with @) is madronalacATaol.com
See the iomfhs.im website in how to join.
Alternatively, do some research through the internet or find a decent book in the library to give you areas which even I, never knew existed until I was shown them.
The Manx Genealogy website here is used by experienced genealogists all over the world and I'm sure we can help you find lost ancestors.
Also see the tab which states Manx Notebook for additional information.
And even another also, look through the SEARCH facility on here. Click the circle that begins before the wording 4 December 1996 and write in the word WADE. (Please note that any person called Wade who wrote an article, will also show up, but you'll get a decent picture of the research on Wade's.)
One other thing, Clague and Wade are fairly common surnames over here
Have fun and kind regards,
Paul Wade (a good possible relation of yours providing the research in the US is correct)
For Wade gedcom file, email me (replace AT with @) pwiomATmanx.net
