There is a John Wade baptised in Scotland in an appropriate timescale:

but I can see no way of being confident that this is the right person and not just a coincidence.

There are a number of John Wades christened in the IOM on the IGI but most are member submissions so I would recommend checking Frances’ Manx Notebook and the films of the registers.
