I now think that John James Radcliffe grandson of Richard Radcliffe (who married Ann Christian) is the son of Jane Eliza Radcliffe who was born in 1843. I do not know who his father was and still cannot find his birth/baptism details in Liverpool. Apparently he told his grandson that he was born in IoM but we have no evidence of this either. He died in 1936 aged 77 and is on England census in 1861 aged 2 which seems to fit with a birth date of 1859Does anyone have any information on such a birth on IoM? The mother may also have been known as Eliza Jane.
