thanks for your message. The Brew I was referring to is the gentleman who did a large handwritten account of Manx families that is in the Manx Museum.
I have found it to vary from inspired to not quite so good. For example he gets into serious difficulties over Sukie Corrin/LaMothe and Sukie's parents and the 70 year old WIlliam asking his dad to get him a job etc, but much of what he says is excellent.
As regards the Corrn look up in the States, thank heavens you queried that. Usually I get an email that says a response has been posted, but sometimes not, so I regularly have a look, but that is one that there was no alert message and I had not spotted. It is fantastic.
