I have been filling in more gaps as the day has progressed. I now have confirmed Richard as listed in 1837 as a shoemaker in Chapel Street, Ramsey.

I am still trying to confirm the details of the marriage betweeen William (his son and my great great grandfather) and Elizabeth (we think Christian) . The information I have , yet to be confirmed is that they were married in Lezayre in 1864, which would link to their first child being born in 1865.

Many thanks for your help, that section of the family tree looks a lot fuller.
