the wife was Ann Skinner, manx born in census, but I couldn't find a marriage on Island, their first child was also born in England - can you not find this marriage - my guess c.1838.

The only other Waring (warring etc) on the Island was James see www.manxnotebook.com/history/naval/traf.htm but his children were Peel based tho he married at Andreas.
