I have found it helpful to:
find the burial--sometimes stone and/or cemetary has extra info
local obituary in newspaper--sometimes extra info
naturalization papers--usually done minimum of 5yrs after entry to US--these papers if they exist still, give lots of wonderful info
Perhaps if you would give us the info details that you have for the US
Who did George marry? when
children's names
where did he die? when?
whatever census info you have
Often you will find others in various parts of your line are doing/have done genealogy.
Connections can often be made in studying some of the collateral lines.
Anyway, a lot of people on this board are very willing to assist you and it would be helpful if you were more forthcoming with the details e.g.
what details were listed in the 1910 Watson entry?
