Some interesting information here but I would ask a question with regard to Robert QUINE.

I extracted the information below from the IGI which shows RQ and MC's children including a Robert who was born January 18 1745 but would appear not to match the Robert who married Esther Kissack who had Margaret DOB 1793 and Esther who died soon after Margaret's birth. This RQ is shown as being born Ballafargher, Onchan, IOM, whereas 'my' RQ I believe is from Braddan.

May I ask how you seem to be so sure that the Samuel QUINE who was appointed guardian of Margaret QUINE DOB 1793 is not her fathers' brother? It would appear that the Samuel Q you mean is Esthers' b-in-law (Isabel Kissack's husband)
