Found 9 children: William 1817, Robert 1819, Elizabeth Margaret 1821, John 1824, Edward 1826, James 1829, Jane 1831, Henry 1832, Thomas 1835.

William GELLING is in all the census's through 1871, and he was buried 11 Nov 1874 age 80 at Onchan (from Brian Lawson's burial index). Brian's will index shows there's a will for him too. He outlived his daughter Elizabeth Margaret (m KELLY). He was a widower in 1871. According to the census's (and burial), he was born about 1794 at Braddan. He lived his last 30 years or so at Glencrucherry Road, Onchan.

I don't know William's ancestry, and there are at least 3 possible baptisms for him on the IGI.
21 Jun 1795 to John GELLING & Elizabeth OATES at St. George Douglas
28 Feb 1794 to John GELLING & Isabel CAVENDISH at Braddan
27 Oct 1793 to Robt GELLING & Jane KELLY at Marown.
I can't relate him at this point to my Gelling line, which is mainly Onchan/Lonan.

Margaret QUINE fits well with this IGI baptism:
Margt QUINE d Robt QUINE & Esther KISSACK 15 Sep 1793 Braddan. There is a 1793 admin for Esther QUINE als KISSACK on Brian's website, which indicates she died shortly after Margaret's birth, her only child.
Marriage: Robert QUINE & Esther KISSACK 12 Sep 1789 Santon. He was apparently of Braddan.
