Re: Who is the ultimate Kermode guru?

Adrian
My interest is in an Ann Kermode of Rushen b. circa 1820.
She had a son, John Kermode (christened November 15, 1840), with John Christian.
She and her son seem to appear twice in the 1841 census; once John & Ellinor Kermode in Rushen and also with Ann Crebbin and John Waterson (located hanks to Frances)
John Kermode had become John Christian by the time of the 1951 census, where he was living with Richard and Mary Christian, and referred to as a grandson. I am descended from Richard Christian and John Christian, (father of John Kermode).
I found two possible John Christians in the 1881 census, but have been unable to discover either who Ann was or what became of her after 1841.
No burials on Brian Lawson's site and only one marriage in Rushen between 1841 and 1843.
The IGI has three Rushen Ann Kermode christenings between 1816 and 1823, but none to a John & Ellinor.
