Re: Who is the ultimate Kermode guru?

Frances,

1) thank you, thank you, for your response & the info. I went to your site (Manx notebook) it is great, I did a search on the name Kermode and it came back with 800+ hits, that should keep me out of mischief for a while!

2) I found the death or burial dates of two of Thomas's children in the article about Athol St Methodist church & gravestones, thank you again

3) thanks also for the info re the house they bought in Peel not belonging to another Kermode family, I would not have thought of that!

4) I haven't found the obit of Thomas Cowley Kermode in the Manx Quarterly- how do I access these? I will check at your site in a minute or three, but if it isn't on there could you let me know how to access it, please.... ???...

5) re your mention of looking up the admin of Ann Kermode (nee Kewin) on Brian's site-- who is Brian & what is his site's URL? I received a thread message from a Brian Lawson, which I am about to reply to, so it might be him ??? What is Brian L's interest in Kermode family history, I wonder ....

6) this family history stuff is fascinating- I have a hope that someone somewhere will someday put together a document or database of all known Kermode data, with known &/or suspected links. How feasible do you think this would be? Has it ever been attempted?

regards from Adrian Kermode
