I think James Kermode/Ann Kewn is correct.
Baptized Dec 1818 at German.
The 1841-71 censuses show him and family living in K Michael Street (1871 gives number 39).
I can't decipher his occupation in 1841 - it starts with an 's' and ends with 'er'. My initial reactions was 'hawker' (from a film) but the fiche is clearer and the initial letter is definitely 's'.
1851 - 1871 give his brith place as Peel, Occupation as 'ironmonger employing 2 men' in 1851, none given '61 or '71.
Ann Quayle (b ca 1833) with family in '51 and '61 listed as niece.
