Who is the ultimate Kermode guru?

I've just been browsing through numerous messages about various IOM Kermode families, it is most confusing, & none of it seems to connect to my Kermode lot. Is there one exalted individual who can trhow light on how some/all the Kermodes of Peel link together & where they came from pre-Peel.

My ancestor is Thomas Kermode 1818-1877, exact birth date & place of birth not known, he married Elizabeth Cowley 1841 at Ballaugh, they had eleven sons, including Thomas Cowley K (b 1844) Member of the House of Keys, and also my gg grandfather Arthur Nathaniel K who migrated to Australia. They lived in Peel.

We think the parents of Thomas K (1818-1877) were James K & Ann Kewin, married 1818 at Marown.

Has anyone came across this branch of the Kermode clan? Can anyone tell me more about them?

I have plenty of info on the Cowleys from my American friend Vern Ingraham ....
