Frances, thank you very much for the info re. WHF and the Athol Lodge. As with Mr. John and Mr. R Forshaw, Samuel Howard Forshaw is not known to us. Critical census documents, Manchester, Chorlton 1851, have only been, I beleive, 10% transcribed, the documents having been severly water damaged at some point in time. So we are anticipating a new transcription made with the aid of U/V light.
