Re: William Henry Forshaw and K.W.C.

It is a 'craft' lodge - I did some research in Freemasons library last Jan (still havn't written it up tho !) - I have 2 Forshaws in the list of members of Lodge 1004 Athole Lodge in 1894 - a J Forshaw and at the bottom of the list a W H Forshaw his position is compatible with joining in late 1893 - somewhere I should have a note of date of entry but can't immediately lay my hands on it. The J Forshaw must have joined after 1887 as I have a list upto that date. However all the entry will give is a date of birth, an address (not usually specific) and a profession - you can pay some £50 and get the same info from Freenasons Library (it is a tedious job to cross check lists) - if you are a mason then the search is cheaper !.

KWC was a public school and took pupils at several ages - typical ages were 11 14 and 16 to prepare for university entrance - but no Forshaw is in my copy of the register
