W.H.F. has surfaced in Bristol!
UK 1891 census has him at 15, Wine Street as a Drapers Assistant (along with 30 other drapers assistants!!) Pigot's 1830 directory has William Graham, linen draper, at that address. W.H.F is shown born 'Isle of Man, Brecick, Dub**l'. (Isle of Man Property Owners 1863 shows his grandmother: Sutherland, Margaret , Brecick, Pt. Ballachrink, Lezayre, 369, 0, 0, 7.
Can anyone say what the garbled word (Dub**l) may actually be?
