Hi Sue
I fear I may have bitten off more than I can chew with these Cannells! I had not really looked into this branch of the tree before and am now wondering whether some of the information I am starting with is actually correct or has simply been speculatively cobbled together in the past because dates vaguely coincided.
For one of my ancestors, I have a date of baptism of 1815 but the age at death (and the 1851 census) suggests a birth date of 2 years later. Either I've got the wrong person (there are two alternatives born in 1817, but the baptism parish doesn't agree with the 1851 census birth parish, and there are a few other things that really don't make sense) or being only 4 years older than her husband was more flattering than being 6 years older. Would this be a possibility?
Anyway, I will take a look at the film and see if anything is clarified for her parents.
Thanks.
Malea
