Deed SSS May 1790 73 - [Douglas]dated 11 May 1790;Thomas Cannell(formerly Kk Michael now Douglas) + wife Elinor als Cannell sells for £60 17s(Brit) to John Corkill(Lough House Onchan) some to discharge mortgage granted by Wm Garrett to Robt Lewin + afterwards transferred to Jno Christian + balance of B+S payable to Robt Heywood , a dwelling house on sandside of Douglas wherein widow Cannall now lives + newly built backhouse + yard or garden adj Thomas Collins on north, street on east, Thomas Quirk on south + John Finch on west; Witt John Lewn, Richd Clague [ the words "of the Lough House in Kk Conchan" were inserted into deed so must have had some importance to one of parties]
