Colin wrote that Elizabeth's father was William Wood and mother Jane Lindsay. The only record I have seen for the date you have given was on the IGI - submitted by a LDS patron - i.e. not from the par reg, which reads:
Elizabeth Jane Lindsey Wood birth: 17 April 1848 Douglas, Isle of Man, England, father: Michael Wood, mother: Jane Cowell.
