Hi Ewan , I am totally confused by this latest posting , it seems to say you were looking for an Alice Foster from Sheffield , isn't the one who died on the Isle of Man from Sheffield ? Also please see my posting about Brian Lawson's Census Index , I assume you are not now interested in the A.C.A. Foster on the 1871 census .
