Oh, no, not a third James Edward Corkill!

Very many thanks Eric, for all the work you have put in sorting them all out. I wondered what had happened to Peter Corkill's son John, although I didn't follow them further than Peter Snr's will saying "to his son John's [poor] son" and wondering what ailed the poor son.
I notice that at John's second marriage he was still of Ballachrink.

Most of my records are earlier than these, and this is what I have for the earlier Peter Corkills.
In case anyone is confused, this family has no relationship to James Edward Corkill [Ned John] of the Ballajora "Dick" family, but was connected to the Ballagorry Mooar family through the 1771 marriage of Jane Corkill 1734-1802 to (unrelated) Peter Corkill d.1822.
