I think all 18th C Michael + Ballaugh wills are summarised on MNB - I've done many land records for period from 1620 onwards for this area (now starting to gather Lezayre material as Jurby also almost complete)
The brick wall for the Caines of this area is that one or two families were Bishop's demesne thus no land records to help (and thus no Marr contracts as nothing to leave) tho I suspect I might get a handle on them via the intacks lying just outside the demesne which did appear in Lib vas but Ballaugh has very many small intacks as the curraghs were the main turf providing area so many farms had their own turbary.
