Averil has kindly sent part of the scan of Emily Hinstridge and household in the 1911 census. I think it looks more like "i" than "e", and I'll ask Averil whether she is able to put it on this board so that you can see the entry for yourself.
Emily wrote that she had had 10 children with eight still living, but didn't enter the number of years she had been married.
