Thank you for that, Tim. This helped make some connections for me.
I have Philip Cain bp 16 Oct 1836 s/o Philip Cain & Catharine Waterson, who married 14 Mar 1834 Braddan. Philip Sr was born about 1803 Braddan based on census's but I didn't determine his ancestry.
Philip Cain Jr & Mary Ann Corkill had 9 children from 1865-81 that I found: Robert Joseph, George William, Albert, Thomas Arthur, John Lewis, Walter Henry, Jessie Ann, Emily Margaret and Benjamin. Philip buried 24 Jan 1910 and Mary Ann 3 Mar 1921 both at Braddan.
I previously had son Albert Cain married to Eleanor Leonora GELLING / CLAGUE 26 Nov 1892 with 4 children born 1896 to 1904. Eleanor was an illegimate child of Elizabeth Margaret Clague (d/o Robert CLAGUE & Elizabeth CAINE) to an unknown GELLING, bp 27 Feb 1848 St Lukes Baldwin.
Regarding the unknown Gelling, I had previously speculated
"Perhaps connected to Charles & Catharine Gelling, as Cath Gelling is with adjacent related Clague family in 1881.
Perhaps the son John b 1828?"
