Sue, very sorry, I made a mistake with my request in my previous message. It is the parents and siblings of Thomas and Ellen Goldsmith that I am trying to find, I am aware that a Thomas and Ellen Goldsmith were the parents of my Great Grandmother, Ellen Jane Goldsmith. However, I am not sure where they fit into the Goldsmith family from Bella Min (or if it's Bella Bin or Balla Ben, as those records I have read are inconsistent). The Thomas Arthur you have researched may not be the Thomas who is the father of my Great Grandmother as there does not appear to be any mention of them in your previous research. Are they related?? I am sorry if I am not asking in the right way or looking in the right places; I am quite new to this and I don't really understand the jargon or how to explore the sites when I find them!! Therefore, I am very grateful for all the help you are able to offer to me. I cannot find any other family members connected to Thomas, his wife Ellen and their daughter, Ellen Jane, who I believe was born 1854 in KirkBride, Isle of Man. there must be some branches of the family out there somewhere??
