Yes, Donna meant that there was no gravestone inscription for the children in grave number 1221.

However, your daughter should be able to find out exactly where the grave is located in Braddan churchyard, and possibly who paid for the plot. I don't live in the IOM and have never been to Braddan churchyard, but I haven't had difficulty finding graves elsewhere. I have usually asked in advance, in case the church is locked, and people have always been very helpful - once even coming to unlock the church for me to see a stained-glass window dedicated to two of my ancestors.

The IOM FHS has plans of the graveyard, but these may not include the unmarked graves. Usually the details would be kept at the church.
