I have seen in archieve 1, to this site, reference to Augustus Frederick Fynney b IOM 1871. There is no index showing this mans birth that I can find. He is shown on IGI as Augustus Fredric Synney, sic, Dixon, having parents Alfred George DIXON and Susan. He is on later census with a mother Susan Fynney and a sister Maude Louise Fynney also born in the IOM in 1880 she likewise is on IGI born Douglas, father Alfred Dixon and mother Susan Fynay Dixon. there seems to be a connection somewhere but it is difficult to sort out. On variuois IOM rescourses I have discovered what appear to be two siblings 1.Adolphus Georgious Finney Dixon born 6.7.1874 deid 21.7.1874 and 2. George Dixon who died at 2 months on 8/2/1879 both seem to have been buried at Bradden. I live in Devon England and am not familure with IOM could anyone advise me as to the likely burial place of these two there amy be some information on the grave.
The problem is that the lady Susan appears on the English census as Susan Jones with Augustus Caesar Fynney b1819. On Augustus Frederick Fynney's marriage certificate his father is shown as Augustus Caesar Fynney.
Any help would be appreciated in identifying the true parents of these children
