(Tom Corteen's transcripts.)
John Christian (Clark) married Anne Corlett 16 Jan 1721/22, and William could have been their child (no mother given). All the rest born in quick succession had the mother Joney.
Ann's burial possibly Anne CHRISTIAN buried Maughold July 2 1725.
- Checked CR’s Maughold book. She has John Christian (1695-1776) Parish Clerk 1721-1776, married twice, firstly to Anne Corlett of Ballakeog, Ballaugh – one son William (Captain William Christian Ballakilley) – then 12 children to Joney Kerruish of Cardle, “but only one son John seems to have survived”.
