An excellent idea--and add a host of others--Sue, Carol, Nigel, Averil, Ian, etc, etc come immediately to mind. The obvious answer is that there already is a "course", -- here on this bulletin board! For people who post their questions and challenges, there is almost always an immediate answer, or suggestions of where to look and how to go about it.

In truth, it is better than any formal "course" one could take. The Manx genealogy experts here are second to none, both in their knowledge and in their generosity in helping others.
