Thanks Jean - I found Jane's maiden Rowan on the birth certs of my GGrandfather, Thomas Kneen and their first son John, both born in Liverpool. John (son) was born Dec 1841 and my GGrandfather Aug 1843. On their first son's birth cert it states - John Kneen born 9 Dec 1841 12 Staffordshire Place, Richmond Row. Name of Father William Kneen Name of Mother Jane Kneen formerly Rowan. Father's occupation Tailor.
