Thank you so much for this. I hadn't seen it. Probably because I was looking in either Cumberland or Wesmorland. I'm sure it is my Margaret's christening. I'm now confident that I have the date of their marriage. I've long been confused with the Robinson/Guy thing. I suppose one other possibility is that Margaret's mother, Jane Robinson, didn't marry John Guy. It also explains why they moved to Liverpool. So many mysteries solved - many thanks. I wonder if their marriage record in Cockermouth will tell me Alice's maiden name? Worth a try I suppose. Thank you again. Regards Gerry Thornhill
