Thank you for your reply with the death dates for Agnes & William, and the story of Francis Corjeage. How lucky you are to have his portrait, I have no pictures of my mother's branch of the family, apart from a very blurred image of her father.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to find out when the awful storm would have been that caused the catastrophe with the fishing fleet. It must have been after 1861 as I have him in the census. I wonder how old he would have been and if he left any family? I can't find a record of a burial for him on the Island so perhaps the body was not found.
