This burial for Eliza Corkan in Bride, just a few weeks after John's burial in Michael, looks as though it could be the right one, apart from the age of 3 (when her age had been given as 8 months in March 1861) ---- maybe a 2 was read as a 3 in the burial register.

So it seems that JOHN, Eliza and baby Elizabeth had returned to the island between March and December 1861.
If you still haven't located the 1861 census image, try this:
Get the page for England 1861. Don't type any names or dates. Find the 2 boxes "piece" and "folio". Type 2914 in "piece", and 37 in "folio", then "search.". I don't know how Genes Reunited works, but you either click on the "view image" by the name of one of the Corkans to bring up the census image, or you click on any of the names in the list, which will bring you an image very close to the one you want. Then look for the number 85 (schedule/household number) in the left hand column.
On the subject of making a signature, I'd assumed that Eliza would have signed "Eliza Sayle" at her first marriage, and, if she'd been able, the signature would have been "Eliza Corkan" at her second marriage. I'd be interested in seeing the certificates so that I can pass them on to my friend who's a descendant of Philip Sayle b 1851, Eliza's youngest sibling.
