your family history is not a bother at all !
and this is what this message board is for, helping to solve problems, and break down any "brick walls" as I was very lucky and had my brick walls broken down through this message board,
confusing sometimes with all the Bridget's and Bernard's in your family, as I found out myself in getting the Father and Son mixed up,
but ever so interesting, in going from the Isle of Man to Australia, and now to America,
it just shows you how far everyone spread in the 1800s when travelling by Ship was the only transport to these Countries, and could take up to 3 months or longer !
and with Sue and Carol's advice may give you an American Birth Certificate !
we will wait until you have received the Bernard Cain (the Father) Birth Cert. from Cheshire in 1864 and see what information it holds,
