Note Latin translated @ as 'for' et as '&', cm [cum] as 'with', cam as 'chamber', dom as
'house'; in some cases the English was used - my own guess is that the wording from the previous year's roll was copied
across though sometimes the scribe shortened or replaced phrases.
sometimes the word cam or dom is preceeded by un, presumeabaly unum or 1 , this I have translated
as a this may imply that it was not the dwelling house but merely one on which the individual paid rent. The word
elarg has been expanded as enlargement - the ordering is also a little different from later years
