Transcribed (and slightly reformatted) from MM MS 5524 which is itself a typescript transcription from a manuscript (current location unknown) - the first column is presumeably the original source pagination I do not know what the remarks column means.
All comments in Red are my interpolation - remember that this list predates the considerable 1880s expansion to the North of the old town (see 1894 rates list), that on Ballaterson to South-east coming much later in mid 20th century.
Street names also differ from those of today - the 1874 High Bailiff's notice has been used to give modern equivalents ; note also that house numbers also differ being merely a count of property along one side and then generally working back along the other side - reference to the 1869 plan is recommended.
NOTE. Houses marked X are in course of erection and unfinished they consequently were not valued by the Valuers, under the Act .
