This is getting awfully complicated. And it all seemed to be going so well......

Does it seem that the John Caveen who was the son of Ralph Caveen and Isabella Craine, was the John who married Elizabeth (Gelling ?)

And the the John Caveen who married Eleanor Callow was the son of "as yet unknown".

Now that the thread has got convoluted, just to recap on the subject I feel fairly sure about, ie the 2 different Frances Caveens:

1) Frances Caveen b circa 1856, daughter of Thomas Caveen and Mary, married Frederick Keed in 1892, and died in 1943.

2) Frances Amelia Caveen b circa 1860, daughter of John Caveen and Eleanor Callow, married James Cope in 1879, was widowed by 1881, and married Robert Charles Cain in 1886. She died age 40 in 1900.
