Yesterday I wrote this transcription of the 1891 household of Irene Cain's family (3 years before Irene's birth ) and said that Irene's mother was Frances Amelia Cain nee Cope:

Frances Amelia only appears in this one census as a Cain, as she died in 1900. Looking for a Frances Amelia Cope b 1860, Braddan, in earlier censuses proved to be difficult, and I'm wondering whether she may have been the 21 year old widow in 1881:

The middle name initial "F" suggests that this isn't the right Frances Cope, although the enumerator may have misread his own curly handwriting when making his neat copy. If anyone's interested in this family, this will need more digging.
