As far as I know, the fortunes of the Radcliffes of Knockaloe and Gordon were founded by William, Receiver of the Peel that is the Lord of Man's accountant at Peel Castle. Roger Dickinson has his dates in office as 1594 - 1613.

There is a problem over where the family was seated, if they are supposed to be lineal descendants of the Abbot.
