Message for Noel Caine.
Noel,
I have been following with interest this line of messages and read in one of your earlier responses that your Great Grandfather owned a tailors shop in Michael Street in Peel. My grandfather Wiiliam Kinrade was a tailor and postman living in the Patrick area and I have an account from my father of William making suits at home and at the end of the week taking them to sell to Caine's tailor's shop in Peel. My father accompanied his grandfather on many occasions as when the grandfather was paid for the suit, my father was treated to some Manx Knobs.
I know this has nothing to do with the Brew family history but thought you would like to know this little story.
Regards
Liz
