Averil, David Christian wrote a series of articles about Gilbert Christian and descendants in the IoM FHS mags of Nov.2004, Feb.2005, and Aug.2005. These included a number of transcipts of par regs and wills. He ends by saying that no-one claimed poor Gilbert, and should anyone discover a link he has his marriage contact, his will, his wife's will, and other info he would be pleased to pass on.

However, I'm still a bit worried about Pauline's later info. - where is the link between, say, her grandparent and the Garretts you have been writing about, because there was no answer to this question?
