Pauline, are you tracing back from your known ancestor's dates and place (usually grandparent)? Could you say how you arrived at John Garrett & Catherine Tear/Radcliffe as being your ancestors? - That would help a lot with sorting out which Garrett family was the correct one.

Also, would it be possible to send a transcript of Cath Garrett Radcliffe Tear's will to Brian Lawson to put on his website so that we can see what information it contains, including any place names? Thanks.
