most (?all) of the Manx Starkies originate I believe from John Starky illeg son of John Starky & Isabel Moore bapt Lezayre 1765-04-28
Son John married at least twice with large families (he was a sailor in 1841c and buried Maughold 18431106 (+ I think a couple of illeg children) - the first marr to Cath Cain with sons John + Thomas also having large families, the second marriage to Jane Kissack.
