I considered these responses, and could only sit back in wonderement, how the term, "Manxophile" would carry any negative connotations. A Manxophile ( which obviously is a conjured term) would be equated with any -ophiles. For example, an Anglophile is one who admires England and its culture. An Anglophone would be the converse. Since the majority of the posters here are not from the Isle itself, the allocated term would be appropriate. Again, my only purpose was to learn more about this culture.
