Apologies for taking ~3 years to reply to you (I don't often come back to the site) - but that it quite fascinating isn't it how a surname can link all of us? Where about in the US are you based? I lived in Montreal for 5 years (in Canada) and did a number of trips across the US, but mostly to upstate NY.
