I am interested in the origins of Cregeen and its relationship with Bridson. You may be aware there is a small farm in Arbory called Ballacregeen. The earliest recorded tenant in 1511 was of the name of Jenken Breden. The Bredens had a larger holding upstream in Rushen parish at Lhingague When the Mac is used in front of a "B" it can disappear.
