None of the family I have asked seems to know or care about genealogy. I do have Robert's obituary that states he was born on the Isle of Man 2 Feb 1834 and came to Kankakee County IL when he was 21. There is a New York passenger list from 8 May 1885 that lists a Robert Corlett 21, John Corlett 22, and a Thomas Cain 28, coming to Illinois. I purchased Robert's marriage certificate to see if it would have any other info and it did not. That is why I am so confused. One thing says Castletown, one thing says Andreas...Find a Grave didn't always say Maughold. I just now found that out from you!! Oh, the joys of genealogy!!! Drives me crazy one minute and I put it away, and then I can't stnad it and get it out again!! I appreciate all of your help.
