there is a 6d quarterland rent in treen of Ballahestine in Andreas held by Philip Tear in 1760 with a note of a change to ownership going thro court in Oct 1761 (this would be noted in Lib Vas) (see Manxnotebook for background to property + transfers), he also held it in 1750 - there is no note of Phil holding land in 1740 but a 6d rent in about the same position on rent roll was held by Margt Kelly + Wm Sail that went thru court in 1748 + 1749

I don't have photos of this period for Andreas + I can't see any deed of sale that would match so probably land descended by will - also I don't have photo of post 1750 Lib assed to check who held land post 1761 (should be a Wm?) - but I should be back in Peel and then Manx Museum next Weds
